Who are LYKON tests not suitable for?

All Tests: Our tests are intended for adults and therefore not suitable for children and adolescents under the age of 18 years.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, use the test kit only in consultation with your doctor, as our reference values are not intended for the increased needs during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Please do not perform our test if you have been diagnosed with a blood-borne disease such as HIV or hepatitis.


DNA Tests: If your BMI is below 18.5 the analysis cannot be performed. In this case, we recommend consulting with a physician.

If you have gone through a stem cell transplantation, it is possible that your DNA sample cannot be successfully analyzed. For this reason, we do not recommend the analysis.

If you are suffering from an acute, chronic or salivary transmissible disease, we are unfortunately not able to process your sample.
