Who is the test not suitable for?

  • Created

Our test is not suitable for:

1. Women under the age of 18
The test is only intended for women of legal age.

2. Women taking hormonal contraceptives (with the exception of the hormonal coil)
Since hormonal contraceptives affect natural hormone levels, they can falsify the test results. If you are taking hormonal contraceptives, we recommend that you do not take the test. If you have an IUD, you can take the test as it will not affect the results.

3. Women with irregular menstrual cycles
If your last three menstrual cycles have been irregular or you are unsure whether the irregularity is due to pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding or the transition to menopause, this test is not suitable. In such cases, we recommend that you consult a gynecologist. A cycle is considered irregular if its length and intensity deviate greatly from the usual experience.

4 Pregnant or breastfeeding women
The reference values of this test have not been validated for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Please only carry out the test after consulting your doctor.

5. Women whose menstrual cycles have not occurred in the last three months
If you have not had any menstrual cycles in the last three months and this is not due to the menopause, we advise against taking the test and recommend a gynecological examination.

6. Women with pre-existing health problems or taking medication
The test is not specifically tailored to existing illnesses or medication. Please discuss the results and recommendations of the test with your doctor before taking it.
