The blood for our tests is drawn by using a lancet, a small pricking instrument.
The pricking is comparable to a prick in the finger with a safety needle.
The blood sample is carefully taken from a fingertip and requires only a few drops of blood, much less blood than a doctor's blood test requires.
The draw is similar to the one a diabetic takes several times a day to measure his or her blood glucose level.
How does the blood sampling work?
