How long can my blood be analysed?

The stability of the sample depends on the particular biomarkers to be analysed.
Nevertheless, you should make sure to send your sample directly after the blood collection in order to perform the analysis as soon as possible.

If the outside temperatures are particularly cold or very warm, we advise you to bring your sample directly to the post office so that it is not negatively affected by the outside temperature in the mailbox. It is best to perform your test directly in the morning before breakfast and bring it to the post office immediately, so that long storage times over the weekend can be avoided.
Once the sample arrives at our laboratory it will be refrigerated, however temporary storage at room temperature can also be tolerated.

Please make sure to perform the sample collection exactly as described in the attached instructions.
The tubes for blood collection also contain a specific coating that increases the stability of your sample.
