What is the difference between the DNA PREVENTION TEST and a blood test?

  • Created

Unlike our blood tests, which require a small amount of blood to be taken from the fingertip (capillary blood), the DNA PREVENTION TEST only requires a saliva sample that is analysed using Illumina's GSA v3 bead chip (standardised microarray).
After the analysis of the saliva sample, you will receive an evaluation regarding your genetic predisposition to sensitivities and specific nutrient deficiencies.
This does only include possible predisposition and an associated increased risk of developing a deficiency of the tested nutrients or an increased risk of certain sensitivities.
Whether a deficiency has really developed or sensitivities are present can ultimately only be conclusively determined via specific biomarkers in the blood, which is why consultation with your doctor is recommended.
