What exactly is being tested in the myNutrition 100 test?

Food intolerance can take various forms. These include intolerances, allergies and, among others, IgG4 antibody related sensitivities.

The myNutrition 100 analyses IgG4-related food sensitivities, which are a subgroup of IgG antibodies.
The body produces IgG4 antibodies when food is ingested. It is suspected that complaints such as headaches, fatigue, abdominal pain, water retention or skin rash are related to a high concentration of IgG4 antibodies.
Some studies describe a clear correlation between well-being and IgG4 levels tested (e.g. Aalberse et al., 1993; Harris et al., 1987). Furthermore, the study by Bernadi et al. shows that 78.5% of the subjects experienced an improvement or absence of symptoms after avoiding the intolerantly tested foods.
In the subsequent examination of the IgG4 values, these decreased significantly in 89.5% of the patients. This underlines the correlation between IgG4 antibodies and well-being (Bernadi et al. 2008).

So our myNutrition 100 tells you which foods your body reacts to with a high concentration of IgG4 antibodies.
